There's an open investigation on time travel to fix some config version
issue, until that is achieved development will still be linear ;-)

There's no spoon^Wsplitting. The 3.15.1 release is made with selected fixes
from master branch (see man git-cherry-pick), hence the "somewhat odd" name.

Anything in 3.15.1 was already in master.
