I use it whenever I have something that must be copied exactly with no
chance of typos - the case that prompted my question was an IBAN
number that I needed to copy into a banking web page.
And my immediate reflex is to double-click, so it's frustrating to
discover that it doesn't work and then have to think about the
workaround.
