Hello, 

I know i can poll mails automaticy, but is it also possible to setup a desktop "new mail" indicator independent which is kind of of the MUA ? 

Ideally, it does not require claws to launch first, but will execute a MUA command when clicked. It would launch just with the xfce desktop.

The result is, one would open claws only if something dropped in, and although it's got the password to the IMAP server, it would not poll any mails by itself.
