Indeed, the RSSyl plugin uses curl and expat directly to fetch and
parse feeds, so your libetpan does not need that.

The feed support in libetpan was in fact adopted from an earlier version
of RSSyl.

I have no idea whether Hoa keeps it up to date, but the feed parsing
code in RSSyl has improved quite a lot since that time.
