They do, but their release cycles are such that users cannot always get the
latest Claws Mail, and as it stands Claws Mail releases have crucial bug fixes.
I thought that was why you maintained a PPA.
I personally build Claws Mail for myself, but I think an up to date PPA would
be very good for getting full reach to a wide range of Linux users.
If you would rather not support Ubuntu in this way, then I suggest you close
the PPA, because it hasn't been updated for years and is sorely out of date.
If you need some help updating the PPA, please let me know. But my thought is
that if you already have the PPA, you already have the deb build environment to
upload packages to the PPA, you just haven't done it in a while. I think it
just should be part of your general release cycle.
