[Users] adjusting size of Claws Mail window

I use Claws Mail on XFCE on Slackware Linux.
Recently the Claws Mail window reaches out to the
edges of the firtual screen. I cannot move or
reduce the CM window. All I can do is shut it
down. 

I use xrandr to render the virtual screen size.
I tried several different settings but all work
the same as far as CM occupying the full screen.
There are no window manipulation icons in the
upper right corner of the CM window.
