Recipients of any mailing lists which you are participating in
will undoubtedly be happy that you are breaking threading in their mail
readers. Not to mention that lot of these headers in fact SHOULD be left
there, as dictated by various RFCs.
Gosh, all that effort just to save a few lines, when many more, and
much longer, are added by mail servers en route from sender to
recipient. You must have a lot of free time.
