[Users] peculiar behavior when I respond to an email.

For years now I have been able to respond to a
post on a mailing list by just clicking on the
item and then clicking on reply. But now instead
of getting a properly addressed reply I get:
 
From:Newsnet (and a dropdown list) and no to:
address at all.

The same thing happens when I attempt to reply to
any message. I haven't fiddled with claws-mail
settings for months. 

Any thoughts? I have Claws Mail Version  3.9.0
