Not sure why are you naming "permanent" keys the keys without expiring date,
because they're no more permanent than the ones with it.
Is that from some GnuPG documentation?

Keys can be set a expiring date later, with GnuPG tools. But if you want to
request a feature enhancement to add the expiring date from the Claws Mail
interface feel free to do it.
