[Users] sssl certificate update - whats claws doing ?

To clarify:

> (7) I shut down and repeated steps 1-6 with the same result.

Meaning, there was the popup again asking me to accept the new cert. Apparently, it wasn't accepted so far (like, silently in the background, as a bug, or whatever). 
Still, i could d/l mails again. And this happened twice. 
The third time, i accepted and from that point on, anything went as usual and as expected.
