Hi, I had the same problem and there is a solution in the Archives
which was sent to me.  Click on the website at the bottom of the
page.  Click on user's archives.  Click on July 2015 [Thread]. Scroll
down the page about three full screens to 

	[Users] Claws-Mail Address Book problem   Ken Parkes

    [Users] Claws-Mail Address Book problem   Abhay S. Kushwaha 

Click on the post by Kushwaha and all will be revealed.  If you

Thanks Kushwaha and Ken.... I had a .bak file, did some renaming and it's good as
new... Very strange, but thanks to you both and the group I'm back in business.
