Thank you, Paul, but you continue to misunderstand. Perhaps I'm not being clear. What I ask is not specific to 'quick filters' - you brought that up. What I ask about has to do with 'Tools' > 'Create filter rule'.

If I want to create a new filter rule for 'aerotek', selecting (highlighting) 'aerotek' is not sufficient - the 'Create filter rule' menu item is greyed out. I must select 'aerotek'/Inbox. Why?
