Unfortunately I have ran into more problems related to this (Sorry for
not spotting them earlier...) 

If marking lines using Ctrl+ mouse leftclicking, messages are marked
as they should be, but when unmarking, using Ctrl and mouseclicking
again, lines are left in the view - see

for an example. I am using latest CVS, 3.8.0cvs30.
