Have now realised that the dialogue window that shows 'match type...'
is 'search folder' from the menu bar 'edit'.

Using the default option 'match any...', a mime-type criterion
'text/directory' was entered in the field 'body' of the search
dialogue window. No results were coloured blue in the message list of
the main window (small screen mode), even though at least one message
with such an attachment exists.

Another question, how to delete/keep clear the list of previous search criteria?
