Well, it was actually longer, but I know of no other way of reporting the
time it takes to fetch a single message, other than sending the logs, which
you remarked are not trustworthy.

I have tried that, but it doesn't affect this issue noticeably. But I will
give it a try again. Are there any other configuration settings that might
help?
