But what if the message contains several parts which different charsets?
As I see the above setting then this would mean that when ever claws
detects a broken mime-part everything will be displayed using charset
utf-8?

It is not unusual that list-servers appends some kind of text to every
outgoing messages in some latin charset omitting the charset indicator.
