I know what you mean Barry. Whenever I "get new mail", my INBOX has the
right stuff in it right away, but I can't do anything with it until my
other 100 folders get updated, and that takes about 20 seconds. It
would be cool if I could start with the INBOX while the computer scans
for new messages.
Of course threads make programming much more complex, and therefore
increase the opportunity for bugs, and right now Claws-Mail seems
to consistently deliver exactly what's expected.
