The XFCE guys are right, it's not their bug if apps don't handle well
end of sessions.

Program running when X sessions end get their connection to the X
server broken and can't recover even by handling signals.

On the other hand, for this reason there is a session handling mechanism
called libSM (session management) which Claws Mail does handle if the
packager did things well. Check in Help/About/Feature if this is
checked.

If it's not checked and you did build Claws Mail by yourself, rebuild
it after installing libSM development headers. If it's not checked and
your Claws Mail is from a package, tell the maintainer :)

(Of course if you close your sessions with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, no
one can help ;-)
