[Users] Overnight mystery.

My XFCE4 install works fine except for one problem. Overnight it
takes me back to the kdm signon screen. Or it kills the Slackware OS
altogether. When I sign on again I get the optional hints menu. I
check the do not display choice but the next time I have to sign
on again the hints menu shows up again.
