            Bug ID: 4842
Summary: Intermittent saving to avoid loss of metadata (e.g.,
                    read status) after crash
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: GIT
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: Folders
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: m.shinn at ucl.ac.uk

If claws-mail is running while my computer crashes, I lose metadata about the
messages. This includes the read status, responded status, flags, etc. This
seems to have been reported previously on the mailing list:

https://lists.claws-mail.org/pipermail/users/2019-May/024210.html

One potential solution could be to save metadata after each mail fetch.

Thank you!
