I can verify that the menu bar open at File, but (after several tries) I
don't get any freezes. Instead, everything else works as normal.

Here the same, except I use Fedora. (I use X11 normally and will continue, as
wayland still seems to have far too many problems.)

Again, these are warnings and not errors and can be safely ignored.
