the dialog says: Error: connection to pop.gmx.net:110 failed
and offers 'close' or 'view log'
as long as the GUI still reacts i can display the log: see attachment.
BTW: I increased those timeout values => no change
I should note that while claws is not reacting anymore i still can open
other websites using firefox etc.
Due to the poor bandwith that works slowly, but it works.
And I can easily fetch mails using at the same with my accounts using my
smartphone and k9mail.
A typical scenario is WiFI at 'Deutsche Bahn' or a mobile network on the
countryside of bavaria ;)
When using tethering via smartphone I can trigger the problem turning
of the smartphones network. Linux stills sees some network, then.
If I reconnect the smartphone all other apps on linux get their network
back, but claws remains frozen.
HTH, Martin.
