Claws Mail does not, by default, forward gibberish. I can't find a way to
make it turn HTML (which is what you call 'gibberish') into plain text.
I suspect that it is yahoo webmail that is breaking the message. If you want
to test my theory, look at the forwarded message in Claws Mail before hitting
the Send button - does it look correct? Forward me an email using Claws Mail,
we'll see if it's is 'gibberish' or not. Thirdly, have a look in your Sent
folder in Claws Mail after sending the message, does it look like 'gibberish'?
I also suspect yahoo webmail because I've seen posts from yahoo webmail users
on other mailing list who send HTML as plain text, (but no other subscribers
on those lists).
with regards
Paul
