[Users] Copy Claws to new computer

I have been running Claws 4.0.0 on Kubuntu 22.04 with QT 5.15.3 and
X11. It has been running well for quite a long time but it is probably
time for an update.

I tried updating Kubuntu 22.04 many times, but it absolutely refuses to
update because of some "unknown problem". I have tried many many fixes
for this, but I have run out of possibilities and considering a
different approach.

The new approach would be to install a new disk on the computer and
install Kubuntu from scratch. Then, I would try to reinstall Claws
mail, trying to restore it to exactly how it was on the previous
computer. This would include the current mail, around 100 folders, 
many many filtering items, etc. What what is the best way to get to
exactly that previous state in a "new computer"? 

Also, would there be any problems regarding QT or other new Kubuntu
software?
