I still get some segfaults in libetpan built with --poll but seems to
be less numerous than without it. There's another patch concerning
"poll" at github that I haven't tried yet. Nothing happening there at
github for almost a year now... See:

I was building it from source pulled from Debian's latest at the time.
I gave up on messing around with different ideas, changes to code trying
to stop the segfaults (end of March 2024). It's way beyond my knowledge
base in programming... Was using the following to build it:

./autogen.sh
./configure --with-poll
make -s
