Ah-ha. In "Open with" I selected "google-chrome %s" and bingo! It
worked. (I had to install google chrome first, and that was painfully
complicated, but I found complete and reasonably clear instructions and
followed them, and was in the end successful.)
One other thing, however. I would like opening with google-chrome to
be the default. Even when I use "Open with", the option displayed is
"xdg-open %s" and I have to click for the drop-down menu to get to
"google-chrome %s".
I (vaguely) recall seeing, in some circumstance, an option being offered
"Make this the default?" or something like that. But no such option is
offered here.
Is there any way to get "google-chrome %s" to be the default?
Please note that I want to keep Firefox as my "overall" default
browser. I just want to make Google Chrome the default for opening
html emails.
Thanks.
sincerely,
Unk
