[Users] Using Claws for yahoo [on IMAP]

Thought i should try again with my own post as i think things got a little confused.

After installing Claws and setting up the account.

One goes to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html to obtain an app password which is a 16 digit number.

Then go to menu -> Configuration -> Preferences for current account

In the pop up window we have selections for Basic, Receive, Send, Compose etc.

In Basic
- Name of account jrjfreer at yahoo.co.uk
- Personal infomation
            Fullname : James Freer
            Mail address: jrjfreer at yahoo.co.uk
            Organisation: [left blank]
- Server info
            IMAP [autoconfigure] default setting
            server for receiving: imap.mail.yahoo.com
            SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
            USERID: jrjfreer at yahoo.co.uk
            Password : 16 digit app password..... entered

In Receive
- IMAP
            drop menu left on [Automatic]
            [/] show subscribed folders only... ticked
- automatic checking
            [/] Check for email every 15 mins... i have selected
            [/] Allow filtering using plugins on receiving
            [/] 'Get Mail' checks for new messages on this account

In Send
- Header
            [ ] send account message address-ID.... not ticked
            [/] Add user agent header.... ticked
            [ ] Add user defined header.... not ticked
- Authentication
            [/] SMTP authentication(Auth)
            authentication [automatic] selected
            USERID: jrjfreer at yahoo.co.uk          Password: 16 digit app password.... entered
            [ ] authenticate with POP before sending.... dimmed not selected as using IMAP

Compose, Templates, Privacy.... not changed from default

In TLS
- IMAP
            [/] Use TLS
- Send SMTP
            [/] Use TLS

In Proxy
dimmed and not changed from default.

In OAuth2
- authorisation
            Select OAuth2 email service provider [Yahoo]
            Client ID: jrjfreer at yahoo.co.uk
            Authorisation: 16 digit app password entered

In Advanced
            [/] SMTP port 465 (also tried with 587)
            [/] IMAP port 993


I would be grateful if someone could tell me where i have gone wrong. No messages downloaded.
