You could add debian-backports (bpo) to your repos.  This will get you a
more up to date version of various packages(1).  CM is at 4.3.0 in bpo at
the moment, compared to the 4.1.i currently in stable.

(1)  These tend to be packages that benefit form being more current due
to security issues, or, as in this case, certain mail providers moving
the goalposts WRT sign on.
