[Users] Foreground color of selected items in message or folder list

Does anyone know how I can change the foreground color of selected messages or folders in the message/folder list? My theme normally has all gtk-3.0 listviews behave such that a selected line has a blue background with white text. Only claws uses black text instead, which makes it almost unreadable. Screenshot attached.

I am happy to dig into changing the gtk-3.0 theme if that's the thing that is broken, but I have no idea which selector to change. Starting claws with 'GTK_DEBUG=interactive claws-mail' and then picking the message or folder list using the inspector tool for some reason does not show me any more detail than the full list. So I cannot read off the class selector that is used to identify selected items in the list.

(this is with claws 4.3.0 built from source on ubuntu 24.04 using cinnamon, in case it matters).
