I'm not particularly knowledgeable, but it seems to me that what you
could/should do is re-set the ownerships and groups throughout
.claws-mail using chown. Something like:
sudo chown -R dnormandin:dnormandin .claws-mail
As you have been advised, make a back-up of .claws-mail before doing
this, just in case:
sudo cp -R .claws-mail backup.claws-mail
(This could take a while, depending on how much stuff you've got in
.claws-mail.)
I'm pretty sure that I've got the syntax right. Others who are wiser
than I should correct me if I haven't.
