Well, as you can see, there are several backup files in there. So, depending
on what errors you have had, you could revert affected files to their older
backup copy. Or you could (re)move files somewhere else temporarily while
figuring out which files cause CM to fail.

Also, for the case of starting from scratch and configuring everything
in CM _again_, you could remove all in $HOME/.claws-mail/ (or move it
somewhere else for backup reasons).


But you've not told what errors you've had, only:

Failure/errors while starting CM can also be caused by bugs in updatedupgraded
external libraries CM depends on, for example.
