[Users] claws-mail displays ics file wrongly

thanks for replying.

(1) the main thing i found strange about the file is its size: many
confusing lines => many ambiguities => very likely errors ;)

(2) I dont know if "UK time" means summer time. What I do know is that
UTC is *not* summer time, thats where my *2* hours of difference come
from.

(3) the system generating the file is used for years by our gouvernment.
Of course that does *not* mean it's error free. But:  100s of
persons get their appointment ticket every day exactly the way I got
it, I guess that means sth. 

(4) even if I do not like it: an app like the google calendar became
sth like the reference, much more relevant than all RFCs together :|

Final question:
Is claws wanting to be *just right* ?
Or is it trying to serve its users with those real world
problems they have (as google calendar seems capable to do in this case)
?
