DM: Hi, Pierre. From what I've seen on this list in regards to this
type of problem, my understanding is that your options include the
following (listed from easiest to more difficult):

* 1. Experiment with different themes until you find one that works for
  you.

* 2. Manually adjust the css settings for your entire system, Claws
Mail only (if possible, but options may be fairly limited), and/or a
particular theme that you're wanting to use. (You can search through
the archives of this list in the last 3-5 years or so to see examples
of how some people changed css settings for their particular issues,
and/or you can do general online searches on GTK3 and CSS, etc. to
see if you can find what you're looking for.)

* 3. You can try to figure out what it is about the interaction of
Claws Mail and GTK3 that might be causing this, and then try to fix
it. For example, if this same thing isn't happening for other GTK3
programs (i.e. only Claws), then you could try to find out why that
is the case. (But note that something like this will likely not be
considered a Claws bug by the developers unless they are able to
consistently reproduce it and also identify that it is an issue
primarily with Claws and not primarily with GTK3 and/or the
particular theme that someone is trying to use.)

DM: Because of having a limited amount of time and not having an
in-depth understanding of the Claws code and GTK3 / CSS, I have mainly
only spent time on option #1 above, with 'acceptable' results. Hope that
helps. ---Dustin
