I disagree.

I believe that what the original poster (OP) seeks, is how to set up a 
group, so that the OP, when wanted, sends a single message to the group, 
and, the software then distributes the message to each person that the 
OP had added to the group.

Other email applications provide this facility, and, I believe that the 
OP wants to know how to set up such a group, using claws-mail, thus, the 
OP is, I believe, quite correct top post the query to the group; the 
error may have been in the way that the original query was worded, but, 
that is one of the problems when communicating with people whose usage 
of a language (in this case, English), vary.

So, I disagree that the query of the OP, is not appropriate for this list.

As an example (I have not used it for a while, for the purpose of 
sending to a group), I could find how to do it using alpine (previously 
known as pine), and, post the stepwise process here, to show how to 
achieve, in alpine, what I believe that the OP is seeking to achieve 
using claws-mail.
