Doubtful, because the problem is outside of Claws Mail.

There is none.
On windows, I believe (I have never used Claws Mail on windows myself), the
default location is C:\\Claws Mail\Mail. This assumes that you are using a
POP account and not an IMAP account, and that you did not choose a different
location.
Before anything else, right click the top level mailbox folder and click
"Rebuild folder tree".
