Yes, i did something as this (but i preffer to not modify the message
content by any way = IMAP keywords). It is pointless, as then i can do
it directly in CM with more friendly UI (than managesieve plugin).
Anyway:

If that coloring is done by filter, it will be skipped on not New messages
(seen on other device).

If that coloring is done in processing rules, that rule(s) must be
applied on folder access (or how it is named), as message can arrive
after CM start and even in that, when i have that folder openned,
jessages are not colored, until i open another folder and then return
(or run processing rules manually).

Missed i something?

In other words, i abandon (automatic) coloring after i switch to IMAP,
as filtering is reliable only by manual run...
