In a word, no.

The amount of posts available from a feed URL is limited on the server side.
If the server is configured to send 20 posts, you won't get more via that
feed URL.

With the plugin you can use the pref to keep older posts, thus overriding the
server's set limit and preventing deletion of old posts that are not currently
provided by the server, but you can't tell the server to send more posts than
it is configured to do.
