[Users] Upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 and now cannot start claws-mail.

Everything works if I open claws-mail by clicking on the icon, but
*DOES NOT* work (a massive error message is generated) if I try to open
claws-mail from the command line.

I *really* don't understand this; as far as I can make out, clicking
on the icon simply invokes the command "claws-mail %u".  (See the
attached screenshot "launcherProperties.png".)  So why should the one
thing work when the other doesn't?

I can of course live with the current situation --- as long as I can
get claws-mail to run, life continues fairly smoothly.  But I'm very
uncomfortable with command line invocation not working and would like
to get to the bottom of the problem.  It seems to me to be unsafe to
let this problem persist.  Can anyone give me any guidance here?

But when Paul looked at the error message that resulted from trying to
start claws-mail from the command line, he said

So something is not right.  But my understanding is so limited that I
can't tell *what* is not right, nor have I any idea how to fix it.  I
really would appreciate some guidance.
