The issue isn't whether it works or is a good solution to password
theft. Many people are forced to use OAuth2 if they or their employer
use a system that requires it. So it's nice if Claws can connect to
those systems.

Apps sucking in information or failing to abide by privacy agreements is
another problem altogether!
