DM: Here's an invalid bug that seems to have somewhat similar symptoms:

Looks like it was only closed because it had been fixed in git. If you
click through on the commit, you'll see that it had something to do
with mime-types, so that might be something to check into. Another
invalid bug related to mime-types is here:

invalid because it was a problem with the operating system context
rather than with Claws. (The comments section also includes some
workarounds / fixes that 'resolved' it.)

DM: I also have a vague memory that if, for some reason, Fancy is not
able to load the HTML content that is being called for, then it
automatically shows the last HTML content that it had shown. So that
might be another angle to look at.

DM: Not sure if these emails are sensitive, but perhaps you could
forward these emails (the ones showing the issue) as attachments to the
list, in case a developer or other user would want to try to reproduce
it on their system.

DM: Perhaps these additional thoughts will be of at least some small
help. Hoping you'll be able to track this down and get it fixed.
