How is the MAIL FROM: in the SMTP dialog being set? The same address as
in From: in the mail or the address in the accounts settings?
Maybe Google's SMTP sets the From: to the address in MAIL FROM: (reson
could be SPF because that only checks MAIL FROM: and From: is shown to
the user).
