Hi,

if you write or read HTML mails, the font is set by the HTML code. If
this font isn't installed on another system, then another font is used.
It might be another font from the same font family or a completely
different font.

I don't know how Claws plugins treat HTML mails, since I strictly use
plain text only.

You can set the fonts used by Claws by Configurations > Preferences...>
Display > Fonts.

Consider to use a non-proportional font for plain text emails, to be
able to write and read formated plain text.

You can probably search the web for a font that provides
a distinguishable letter lower l/L and number one yourself. Consider
that the upper letter O/o and the number zero could be hard to
distinguish, if at all, too.

Consider to use a meaningful subject next time.
