Great point. Why do they allow Mozilla Thunderbird to work without a
browser, or is it's interface
"browser-like" (no idea what I am talking about here). At any rate
Thunderbird works with Gmail automatically and flawlessly.
Set up is instantaneous and uncomplicated.
I prefer Claws because it is such great software and independent but I have
to have all my email on my hard drive so I am using it now.
I set it up completely on an external hard drive. It does not require any
of it's file system to exist on drive C: (as far as I know).
