Sorry, I asked for the logging as I assumed you were reporting a
problem with a documented/supported authentication method. As it is
past the date that google has announced that use of the site-wide pw
will no longer be supported, I don't think there is much value in
trying to figure out why it doesn't work when use of that option
fails.
