I think there's a lot of mixed information (possibly even
misinformation) that's causing confusion. I'm one of the people who
fell into some of that confusion by assuming I had to set my account
up with OAuth2 when it seems I don't yet need to do anything at all
and may only need to set up an App Password if the current set-up
stops working.
