perhaps i have to mention, that i use dovecot's virtual namespace, with
virtual mailboxes (something as IMAP search shortcut, if you are not
familiar with them), thus any new message arrives two times, once in
particular folder and once in "New" messages virtual folder, otherwise
they are both identical.

I do not know if that matters...
