I do not know, but, I expect that it would not be able to be done, as 
the Linux and Windows filesystems are not interchangeable.

Whilst data may be stored on a partition accessible by both operating 
systems, that may be accessed by some applications; for example, storing 
.doc or .pdf files, in a FAT32 partition, an application like 
claws-mail, would, I expect, store its data and configuration files, 
closer, in the file format of the operating system upon which it is running.

That is my expectation, but, I accept that I could be wrong.
