I've never seen such a rule on any ML.  In any event, it can't really be
enforced.  Furthermore, the ability to killfile people(1) on lists is,
IMO, critical for your maintaining your cool, and possibly your sanity.

(1)  Some people seem to rub everyone up the wrong way.  Others may be
acceptable to me, but not you - and vice versa.
