I should have looked at the screenshot. I would have then known that the op
meant the gtk file chooser (not claws-mail directly) versus the dolphin file
manager, and not the Attachments window as I had assumed. Clearly they are
using different measurements.

Dolphin, being part of KDE, is obviously the place where the op can make the
change to what is displayed.
