[Users] Claws not removing emails from server?

I have one last question:

I have my domain account set up in claws, which is a fastmail account. 

I switched my account from folders to use labels. Back when I was using
IMAP

I use pop3 now

I have this account set up  in claws to remove emails from the server
after 1 hour of popping.

But, claws is not deleting the emails from the server after an hour
like it was before I switched to IMAP.

All emails that come in go to the inbox. I do not have any labels set
up. 

So, could it be that claws doesn't understand labels and I need to
switch back to folders for that feature in claws to work right? 

But that makes no sense, because I have 2 gmail accounts set up in
claws and it seems like emails are getting deleted from the server upon
downloading. Well, that could be because I have those gmail accounts
set to delete upon popping.
